Introduction

At AFib Tracker, we believe that your health data is personal and private. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Simply put: we don't collect it, we don't store it elsewhere, and we don't share it.

Our app is designed from the ground up to be privacy-first. All your episode data, triggers, medications, and notes are stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

What Data We Collect

AFib Tracker stores the following information locally on your device when you log episodes:

Episode Information

Date, start time, end time, and duration of AFib episodes

Intensity Level

Your self-rated severity: Mild, Moderate, or Severe

Triggers

Factors you associate with episodes (caffeine, stress, alcohol, etc.)

Medications

Medications taken during or after episodes

Notes

Free-text observations about symptoms or experiences

Custom Settings

Your personalized triggers and medication lists

What We DON'T Collect

We do not collect your name, email, location, device ID, or any personally identifiable information. We do not use analytics, tracking, or crash reporting services.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework on your device. Here's what that means:

Data Retention & Deletion
